It's just odd because I grew up thinking that people waited until they were 21 to drink. Couples waited until marriage to have sex and people didn't do drugs. I thought you would always end up marrying your soulmate. Your friends would always be your friends never leaving your side. And most importantly, that everyone who YOU said " I love you" to would say it back... and mean it. It's just crazy how you could grow up with all this love and hope in your heart. Then you're thrown into what you think is a twisted world, but it's actually life. And you've gotta live it. Sequel to Maybe I'm Insane

Maybe I'm insane, but aren't we all a bit. Here's a look inside my crazy mind. My hopes, my fears, my problems all out there for you to see. It's not all pretty and it's not all nice, but it's the truth. I won't blame society for these things, because in reality... we are society. I've come to realize that just maybe, were all meant to be a little insane.

It had been all the storms at once. Hurricanes, tornadoes, dust storms, droughts, and every other one possible. This killed one fourth of the human race. A disease hit hard only a month after the storms. It shut down your spine, preventing you from walking. It then ate away at your bones turning you into nothing but skin and blood. This took two quarters of the human population. Electricity was now a fantasy. The government had fallen to pieces when the White House was blown to bits by an earthquake. The military ran home to their families in hope they were alive. The world was nothing but a piece of scrap after the disease and storms. It left people to scavenging and killing. The ones who couldn’t fight died or formed groups together. My mother died in front of me. My father torn from my grip. My sister is the only one I have left. I am going to get her back, no matter the cost.

Boy next door is charming. Boy next door is dangerous. Boy next door is on house arrest. * * * * * They've been neighbors for as long as Juliet can remember. You'd think being neighbors, they would have been friends by now. Not the case. They've been sworn enemies since Jack dumped sand down her shirt in the 1st Grade. Juliet Sanders lives next door to Jack McKinnon, the boy on house arrest for being the prime suspect in a murder investigation. That's only because his father paid off the judge, of course, or he'd be behind bars until the trial. The McKinnon family stays in the spotlight. Jack's mom is a famous author, his dad a movie producer. Juliet watches Jack. Whether if he's going for a swim or walking laps around the house at 3 in the morning. Something always piqued her curiosity. It takes Juliet getting locked out of her house to finally face the mysterious boy next door. And he's definitely not rainbows and butterflies. Juliet's curiosity may just get her in trouble. *Slowly editing FULLY* Note: KKKANGAROO has been really kind and has helped me edit some chapters. :)
