It's been 4 years since twin siblings Dipper and Mabel visited Gravity falls for the first time and they are returning for the summer once more. Although Mabel is incredibly excited to see their Grunkles, Stan and Ford, Dipper is troubled by other teenage dilemmas and feels more alone than ever. But as July, 2012 nears, the twins meet an unusual old man, who claims to be their great uncle. They weren't exactly given a choice on whether they were to go, but at least it would be the two of them together. But as soon as they arrive, the summer begins and they realize that their whole lives could be conceited and fake; a huge lie that even they didn't know they were apart of.
