At birth, every child is born with the date of their death on their wrist. Scarlet, a seventeen year old living in Portland, Oregon was supposed to die yesterday. She is trying to figure out why she is still alive and if it's something to worry about. Her friend, Delilah, whose death will occur in 12 years helps Scarlet in this time.
