[BakuIida Oneshot] Iida and Bakugou are partnered together for some sort of strange assignment. All they have to do is progress through the floors of a building to reach a man, who's waiting deep in the basement - but they don't know his Quirk, or the purpose of the assignment in the first place. As they descend, they begin to talk. Both of them give more away than they intended - and learn far more about the other than they bargained for.

It's Friday night. There's a knock on Kirishima's door, but he isn't expecting anybody. --- "You're looking at me like I'm some kind of a ghost," Bakugou says. "What's your problem?" "Dude," Kirishima says. "I haven't seen you in three years." (Note: I originally published this story on AO3 in Sept. 2018)

Iida has a near-death experience, and Bakugou's walls crumble. --- "Over the edge of the crevasse, a face appeared: Bakugou. It was bright enough in the world above that Iida could see him clearly; indeed Bakugou almost seemed to glow, lit orange by the sunset. He peered down, saw Iida and froze, his face taking on a look of wide-eyed horror that Iida had never seen on him before."
