The noise of a siren echoed in my ear, The cries everywhere, Covered with a white kaffan. The heart-wrenching scene. Taking her away. No! No! No! Drenched in sweat, I woke up from another nightmare which haunts me every night.

-- We hear many times of couples meeting, spending time together, getting to know one another before getting married and having their happily ever after. How often, though, do we hear of these very people after their happily ever after? How often do we hear stories from relationships which have gone through hell and back? How often do we hear of a love so great that it rekindles after years of destruction? Not very often. Sumayya wakes up one morning to find that her husband has abandoned her, leaving her all alone in their bed, their home and their marriage. Alone and pregnant. For years, Sumayya pushes her way through life, overcoming countless obstacles which life mercilessly throws at a young, single mother of two. The story begins when Zaid, the man she has not seen for four years, shows his face at her work place, and goes on to follow the pair on their whirlwind of emotions, rash decisions and their thorn-filled journey of falling in love all over again.

#1 in TwistedLife. #1 in ForgottenPast #2 in Muslims. #2 in duaa #2 in Qadr #4 in haraam #5 in Hopes. I believed, This world is merely a test of strives. I trusted, Finding and falling in love... ... with anything attached to this universe ...would give me a string of heartache. For I felt, Nothing is meant to be forever in this mere world. Nothing. Then you came along. You came like a prince on your horse To sweep your long lost princess away. You brought back all my forgotten fantasies to reality To show me, It was just as fine as to have faith in those dreams. You came to shelter me in your arms, Shadowing me away from this world. You made me believe, This world is not always just about the pain of struggles. You reminded me, To not fall in love with anything that is not permanent. This world is not permanent, You are in this world. You are not permanent too. Again, you made me known, In your own way, You are not meant to be merely existed in this world. You are always supposed to be my forever, Forever in my breath, Forever in my heart, Forever in Jannah. Assallaamu alaikum everyone :) This book is my first attempt at writing. I hope you guys will support me throughout this journey. I will really appreciate it. And this book is open to all. Anyone can read this book and give your views. No matter how close you are to them, there are certain things you just don't say. No matter how lonely you feel, there are certain people you just don't befriend. No matter how much you've fallen, there's always a guy you shouldn't give your heart to... Sadly for me, I learnt the last one only after I had gotten my heart broken. They say that you shouldn't look down upon anyone, or you will be put in their situation and made to experience the crisis. When I was fourteen, I had rolled my eyes at a girl who was sobbing histerically over a guy who liked her best friend. And I was probably paying the price for that now. However, I was trying my best to fit my feet in the shoes I had been given. I was trying and I was managing just fine. What I didn't need was a trouble maker who entered my life without permission. The guy who claimed to be bowled over by me, the one with a broken heart. Little did he know, I had entrusted myself to Al Malik, The Owner of me and my heart. And if he had to reach me, he had to do so by pleasing Allah. Which wasn't possible for a guy like him. Or so I thought.
