"But," Tony continues as if he wasn't interrupted,"who am I to decline my own genius. So," he turns lazily on his heel to suddenly face the doctor with a confident smile, "be my date." Or: Tony takes Stephen out on a surprisingly thoughtful date to convince him to come to a Stark Industries Gala. Stephen thinks it'll be easy to go through the motions, but when Tony turns out to be genuinely considerate, he's not so sure. However, like everything else in Stephen's unpredictable life, things go off the deep end when it turns out Tony hasn't been entirely truthful about his motives.

Title is the line "and that pollen that fell from her fingertips" from the song Epic 3 in Hadestown with just a few words changed Butterflies begin to burst from Stephen's fingertips. They seem harmless, but are they? As he struggles to find out what these butterflies mean, the Avengers struggle to find a way to fight and defeat Mordo. After Ultron, the Avengers and their new recruits settle into life at the tower and the new Avengers compound. Thor has gone back to Asgard but he comes back a little different and he's not alone. He also brought his war criminal baby brother. Now the team has to take care of a de-aged Pair of Asgardians without the first clue on how to do that.

Harley stared at the contact on his phone, finger hovering above the call button. It had been five years since he'd seen him, but he didn't have anywhere else to go. He took a shaky breath and pressed call, raising the phone to his ear. "Hello?" came the familiar voice. Harley smiled weakly. "Hey, old man." -------------------------------- Harley was devastated when he heard his mother and sister had died in a plane crash. The bank saw the opportunity, and seized the home, leaving Harley on the streets and running from CPS. He kept the number for emergency purposes. Being an orphan and homeless counts as an emergency, right?
