I know I don't do many prose pieces or stories, but I wrote this for my English class. It is a paragraph in response to the question, "What is George Orwell trying to tell us about freedom? Why does he make emotional freedom so important?" I just thought it was different from my other pieces and that I might share it with you.

In a poetry class we were given the task of either rewriting a poem as prose or converting a piece of prose to a poem. So here's my take on George Orwell's 1984 summarised as a short poem.
