This is the sequel to "Ezra's new life". Please read that before reading this. This takes place 3 months after "Ezra's new life" do no age or look differences in the characters. Ezra was sent on a solo scouting mission to Malicore only for him to never return. A ruthless father sets out to find his newly adopted son and makes a shocking descovery of his son's state of mind. Ezra's past life is a mess I think we can all agree right? It doesn't help that he is reluctant to share it, especially with Kanan. In this story in a meditation class between Ezra and Kanan, Kanan picks up on Ezra's memories. He then spends extra (aka forced upon Ezra.) time with Ezra to help him get through as father and son.

When Ezra and Kanan have an argument that results in a violent action from Kanan, Ezra feeling unloved and unwanted decides to run and hide. He is successful in so for weeks. In those weeks, Kanan filled with regret and sorrow seeks him out. However when he is found Kanan sees the whole extant of the damage he had cause weeks before and has to mend what he broke, his relationship with his son. Can he fix what has been broken? WARNING. Ezra wants to leave the Ghost to explore Capital City again. Typical. Ezra goes to town by himself. No problem there. Ezra returns with an array of cuts and bruises. Yep, everything's per- WHAT?
