What she finds on the other side fascinates her; a young human named Joel. Joel is the most perfect creature she has ever seen, but is love for this human able to overcome the fear that she could be punished by death for this unforgivable sin?

Dakota Lynx never was the average teenage girl but then again, what is average? The young teen kept to herself all throughout her school years and never really had any friends.
