He was mutated and trained to become a super villain for a man known only as "the Boss". Between being forced to kill, being beaten down by his boss, and being separated from his family for the next fifteen years, contentedness feels like something completely out of his grasp. -- When Phil Lester was born with superpowers, he knew what he was supposed to do. The moment he was old enough, he moved to San Francisco to join Curatrix, the largest superhero headquarters in the world. He became the healer for a squad of other natural-born heroes in order to make a difference in the world, but something was missing. He's lonely. He tries to ignore his disconnect with the other heroes, but he can't shake the feeling that he's got nobody else except a family that's an ocean away. He's not a great fighter due to his healing abilities, so time and time again he's placed on the sidelines and forced to watch while the others fight. Then he meets Dan, and his entire world changes. Dan Howell was the typical spoiled, rich boy with butlers driving him to operas and maids making him nachos for breakfast. Phil Lester, however, was the opposite. Barely any money and deadbeat parents, he lives in a bad neighborhood in a gross apartment with cat hair covering the carpet and an odd roommate. And then Dan's parents decide he needs to love someone rather than himself, and when Phil shows up at his mansion steps, Dan's parents grow fond of him- so much that the two are exchanging rings and Phil is moving in with his new spouse. They tell Dan he should give it a few months, to be patient, and if he still doesn't like him then they'll sign the divorce papers and call it quits. Marriage isn't perfect, right? Well this one is the exact example. But they could always pretend.

Dan is a powerful slytherin with a knack for taming beasts while Phil is an uncoordinated hufflepuff with a knack for herbology. but when trouble starts arising in hogwarts and Phil's home, and a darkness looms over their world, Dan soon finds himself faced with an impossible choice.

Dan has set a date. He will wait 6 months and if his life isn't better by then he will end it. Just days after planning this he meets Phil.
