I turn to the boy as he thrusts his flaming sword towards me. I dodge and I kick the sword out of his hands and it clatters to the ground, the blade retracting and the fire extinguishing. I place my katana sword right next to his neck and I use my other hand to push him to a tree and hold him there. Heat ripples through me at his touch. "Who are you?" I ask, my mask muffling my voice slightly, as I push him harder on to the tree. I inch my sword closer to his neck and he leans his head away from it, gulping. "Uh...H-Hiccup. My name is Hiccup." He's a Hiccup? ____________ A strange girl, with strange powers, and a strange Night Fury... Hiccup crosses paths with a strange girl by the name of Ember who has a deadly secret. One, if found out, can have deadly consequences. But little does Hiccup know about the secret he, himself possesses. One that he's about to find out about... "A-Astrid?" I spoke my voice shaky and cracking a few times. At the tone of my voice Astrid looked up at me with her eyes furrowed. "What wrong?" She asked urgently her eyes wide. I didn't know what to say but I took in a breath scared that what I say was true, I prayed that I was just seeing things but I knew deep down what I saw was the truth. I let out a breath before speaking up but only in a broken whisper. "Do you self harm?"

Hiccup and Toothless left Berk thinking no one cared. Being the neglected child of Berk (despite his family, and being the heir to the village), Hiccup decided he'd had enough. He took Toothless and his most treasured belongings and high-tailed it out of there. When he runs into his long-lost mother, life looks up for Hiccup. He's found a place where he belongs. Meanwhile, on Berk, the village assumed Hiccup was dead by a Night Fury's doing and left it at that. Astrid and her friends, however, didn't think such. When a surprise trip overseas and an unfortunate turn of events allows the Berkians to find an odd nest in the middle of nowhere, they may prove that the lost heir to Berk isn't as dead as everyone thinks. //story takes a turn for the worse like halfway through bc i stopped editing it. also i wrote it when i was like 11-12

He was Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the third. During his time as a beat up, fifteen year old Viking, Hiccup started to change. Physically and mentally. He was getting powerful, violent urges, and his veins turned black, and started to show. In the arena, when he was supposed to kill the Monstrous Nightmare, something within Hiccup snapped. Something fell from the light...and something rose from the darkness... Filled with this new power, and rage, Hiccup mounted Toothless, letting out the wrath of a Night Fury and his rider. Leaving the Vikings wounded, he flew off, away from Berk, and away from everything he had ever known. Five years on, everyone thinks he's dead. Until Berk meets the Rouge Angel... Remember when I asked in I Ran Away if I should make another Run Away, well this is it! The title is Hiccup saying to Toothless when he runs away in this book. I'm a nobody! I have no mother, myself to talk to, my father pays me with abuse! My name explains me at every point. One day I meet someone who cares about me and my choice is What If I Ran Away? I'm Hiccup Horrendous Haddock lll and my life is so horrible. Well until I thought about leaving. What will I become? Will I stay away forever?

The darkness suffocates me. I can't see anything, and I don't remember anything either. I just remember falling. Falling. And now I'm here. An unbearable pain sprints up my right leg and I scream in agony before I start falling once again. Falling back into the darkness. ------------------------------------------------------------ Being chief, Hiccup Haddock rarely gets time to himself. So when the village allows him to take the day off, he happily agrees. He takes to the skies with his night fury, Toothless, meanwhile ignoring Astrid's warnings about the distant storm clouds, a mistake he will later regret. A horrible series of events sends Hiccup and Toothless to a foreign land with no way to get home. The pair find themselves completely lost.
