Sirius is starting with the memories of a certain morning at 12 Grimmauld Place in August: memories that he might not ever forget, yet is desperate to cloak underneath the facade that every is fine at home and that he and his parents just sometimes encounter minor disagreements. James is starting his fifth year, yes, but more importantly, he is starting phase five of his plan to woo Lily Evans: somehow his friends seem doubtful that he might succeed, but James, being James, is in no lack of confidence. And Peter, well, Peter is starting to wonder just why he puts up with these people, and if he should really be feeling sorry for Lily Evans, and maybe if he should have asked to have been sorted into Hufflepuff.

The Potter name is nothing but a curse to the now sixteen-year-old Albus Potter. Although he might resemble his father physically, that is where the similarities end. A Cursed Child rewrite I, like many other fans, was disappointed with the plot of The Cursed Child, so I decided to take matters into my own hands. While I little bits or lines from the play that I thought were good, I completely changed the plot. So here is my version of The Cursed Child, with no queerbaiting, children of Voldemort, and absolutely no time travel!

Yet, relief comes in the form of a young woman, named Renata, and their first encounter is nothing short of a chaotic mess. But at the same time, it's the first thing that's made James laugh in months.

Gone are the carefree school days, as a new era begins in the lives of the Marauders. Voldemort's powers are ever increasing and the days are getting dark for all the wizarding world. James, Lily, Sirius, Remus, and Peter, along with their friends, will discover all of the hopes and fears of fighting - not only against the dark magic of the rising regime, but also against the trials and troubles of becoming grown up.
