This story was inspired by art made by Monarobot on Tumblr. ~~~ After Sarah had defeated Jareth, unbeknownst that she will leave him cursed, the handsome and irresistible Goblin King was left with hideous features upon his being. Horns. Wilder teeth. Scaly skin and very bony structures. Jareth was forever stuck in his true, hidden form. In order to reverse the curse, he must find his lost queen, the one who bested him. Sarah is the only one who can cure him, but she must accept the fact that she will become Goblin Queen. Will she accept her fate? Or will Jareth be stuck a scary, hideous creature for all eternity? ~~~ I was given permission by Monarobot on Tumblr to draw and make a story with their Gobliny Jareth that they had first drawn, given the theory that the masks the other Fae wore in the ballroom scene had represented who those people truly are behind their beauty. Sarah just defeated the Goblin King and won her brother back but she is back to the Labyrinth the next morning after an accident. Without knowing how or why, Sarah and the Goblin King, must, together, find the reason and a way home. A way home? Was there any?

Join Sarah as she travels back into the Labyrinth to her friends... And to Jareth. Though he'd never admit it to anyone but himself, Jareth has been keeping tabs on Sarah. When his faithful servant Pansy foresees an accident which renders Sarah dead, he breaks the rules of Fae and offers Sarah immortality in exchange for her becoming Queen of his Kingdom. Sara refuses, and later, scared of death, she grudgingly accepts. The two adapt to each other in time, and even become formally engaged at the insistence of Jareth's family. Sarah is accepted as the goblin queen-to-be. Then the murders begin to happen... Who is the culprit? Disclaimer: I do not own the characters throughout this fan fiction, though the plot is my own.
