The "Marked" live in peace and accord inside the Gates; a metropolitan city that contains anything a person needs to survive and to thrive, and maybe even more... Outside the Gates, life is hard and unbearable. The people live in the barren wastelands that the ancestors of the world mistreated and killed. They are "Blanks," just about the opposite of the "Marked." The entire "Blank" population is cast out of the city, forced to live in poverty and hunger, while the "Marked" are purged of these hindrances and are given what they need. What if Starbucks could change your life as you know it... When an ordinary trip to Starbucks goes wrong, it turns Skye Bleu's life completely upside-down. 1 message. 3 words. 10 letters. "Come find me..." With this confusing message left especially for Skye, she is forced to run around her hometown in Seattle in search of this mysterious person from Starbucks.
