"Our women cannot be wooed." Warned the King. "They have not met my men." The Sovereign replied. In Rowland, a kingdom void of love, where even a kiss is unheard of, Illyria is the prim and proper niece of the King, and his unofficial body guard. This princess has never been sated with her position, and has done everything in her power to climb the political ladder to reach the power and prestige she craves, the position of General over the kings army. On the eve of a marriage arranged to help her climb, a mysterious foreign ruler intrudes the castle walls, a masked leader known only as "The Sovereign." King Hal of Rowland takes this invasion to be a declaration of war, but instead the Sovereign is there to make him an offer he can't refuse. Meridian, the suave, lighthearted General of the Sovereign's army was just an adolescent when the plague that killed his Kindoms female population; including half his family, struck Morwick. Can he, his twin brother, cousin and the other young men who have mastered seduction and romance to an art form even turn the heads of icy, detached ladies who have never even heard of it? If they fail, war will soon follow. In this medieval Hunger Games, What happens when politics meet passion? 100 of Morwick's men must face off against 100 of Rowland's women during "Bedding Camp". Though the Morwick's weapon of choice is not what Illyria is expecting. Ranked #1 in Historical Fiction as of June 23 2017 *Complete book available on Amazon* (Link in my bio)

Highest Ranking: 2 in Historical Fiction, 30 in Fantasy I looked up and saw him for what Father truly was. He looked tired and for the first time I saw how little he cared about them. His thoughts were elsewhere as he looked longingly at his two rings on his ring finger. Pharaoh was suppose to resemble a god and as I looked upon him now he was but a mortal, lost and weak. "This seems very important to you Father," I said carefully. He looked at me with sad eyes. "This alliance is very important to me, Kamila. It shall benefit our country. Orbus is a very powerful country, probably the most powerful in the world." I nodded in agreement even though I knew nothing of the extent of Orbus' power. "You may not understand now Kamila, but you will soon. You are smart, the smartest and most favored of my daughters. I need you to learn and study as much as you can for the good of our country. I invited them hoping we could unite our nations..." he trailed off and played with his gold ring. "And you hope to unite our nations through marriage?" I understood it all now. The question is who was he going to offer to Prince Atticus? Heat began to rise within me. "Precisely," he smiled slightly. There was no one in the room but us. It was empty where no one but a few servants could hear us. "I intend to marry Jamila off to Prince Atticus." That's when my heart sank. -------- Kamila... a name that suited the princess of Ancient Beliba for she was perfection. She was born with beauty from the gods, but when she meets a godly prince she must learn from their encounter that beauty is not only what a princess needs. A princess needs to be clever, and a fourteen year old such as herself was not so. Well... she was until she met him... Her ancient kingdom is becoming a place filled with snakes trying to snake their way to the crown. Will Kamila fill the prophecy of the gods to unite two powerful nations? Or will she fail?

"You threw me to the rogues, but you never expected me to lead them. You thought they'd eat me, but instead they bow before me." She backs up, seeming to compose herself a little, and I'm still speechless. "Stupid Alpha, did you really think I'd wither away? Did you honestly expect me to just disappear like the rest of your problems?" She starts laughing darkly, making everyone else but Julian step back in fear. She closes her eyes, dropping her hands to her sides. "Stupid Alpha. I'm stronger than you ever were, and even more terrifying." Her eyes open, I gasp in shock at her now glowing red orbs...crimson with a frightening glow. "I'm Alpha of the Rogues, and your apologies mean nothing to me." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Scarlett Thomas was just a warrior wolf in her pack of Shadow Mist...that is, until she turned sixteen and found her mate in the Alpha. And the man who rejected her is coming back for forgiveness...and she has none for him. Ruling her own pack and holding her own, she shows him just how much he threw away...and will never get back.
