Ed and Al now have their bodies back. Ed and Winry aren't together anymore but Winry is now with Al. Ed has no clue until after he pays a visit to a certain someone...

"What?! The stupid mission requires me to wear the uniform?!" "Yes Fullmetal. You'll blow our cover if you don't." "And I'm being sent with you?!" "Yes Fullmetal." Edward Elric had been assigned on a mission. An undercover one. Him and Roy Mustang, Ed's superior, were assigned to go on the mission together. What they were supposed to do? Go to a party for soldiers, and Ed was supposed be Roy's 'girlfriend' Nothing could go wrong right..? Falling in love wasn't apart of the plan. Right.....?

Lately in Central Command, no one has been safe. An alchemist has been running around, targeting other State Alchemist's. Edward Elric, is next on his list. And Roy Mustang knows. He's just to worried for the boy to tell him. So, he covers up the reasons for his actions with lies. But those lies didn't do a good job of protecting Ed.

After his failed attempt at harming Ed, the Lightning Alchemist is annoyed. So, he decides to do something new. Meanwhile, Roy and Ed are in a bit of a puzzle when a new subordinate shows up for Roy. Ed is reminded of some unpleasant memories and is slowly forgotten. Things happen, and even Roy changes. Can Ed remind Roy of what they used to be? Or will he die to hands of The Lightning Alchemist?

Edward, Sergeant Brosh and Lieutenant Ross are all captured. When Major Armstrong, Lieutenant Hawkeye, Al and Roy go to save them, Ed is badly hurt. Mentally and physically. He won't talk about what happened. Roy decideds that its his job to fix Ed and over time, falls in love with him

Edward Elric needed information. They make a deal. There's only one rule to this deal. Everything that happens, means nothing. Or so they thought.

The small alchemist only wants the Flame Alchemist's attention because he is rather fond of him, no he's in love with him but gets shot down by him when he gives him a note. Roy who doesn't believe that wants to test Edward's loyalty and truth to what he says by building him up than breaking him down. Does Roy feel the same way or is he just playing mind games with the small love struck alchemist?

Now, he can't get those golden eyes out of his head. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When the two finally meet, Roy realizes Ed isn't as perfect as he pretends to be. Theres a reason Ed drowns himself in his music. And it's not a happy one either. But Roy is determined to help Edward.

Edward has been missing for the last five years, not a trace of him left. Roy has been on end all this time, hoping he would be found among the several hundred thousands of homes. Then, as if by a miracle, he is found in a basement with a second girl who was forced to do something drastic to him. Excerpt: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry Roy. I shouldn't have let you leave, I shouldn't have-." Edward stopped when his weak lips brushed his own. "Don't worry." Roy coughed, gagging softly. "It was my fault."
