A fanfic based on the short but sweet animated film called, you quessed it, '' In a Heartbeat'' by Beth David & Esteban Bravo. Sherwin has always been the odd one in the bunch. He sees things more than what meets the eyes and had always often left him in his own world. He was the black sheep in the herd, the one kid in the cafeteria who would rather sit alone and stare down on his collection of photographs. He was a weird kid. No one could have a proper talk with him but he still has friends. Though not many but he has them, Even if they too find him very weird, and he was fine with it. Jonathan is the best striker and captain of the soccer team in school. Everybody knew him. And just like his brother, the star football player, everybody loves them. They knew him from his achievements and they love him for that, he has friends and a lot of them too but they only knew him for what he does, but not who he really is, and he's not fine with it. Two worldly different boys, met in an unlikely place. Could friendship bloom between them? Or perhaps there could be something more? Follow them in their mishap of a journey as they figure out how to mend, break, and create new bonds as they find out something new about themselves while struggling to keep it in. Wellston Private High School, where the strongest are placed and the newest system has just begun. The Suits, a new system built to coexist with the current Royals system, a new system which separates the students not only by their ability levels but also by their overall ability, personality, and overlying strengths and weaknesses. The Hearts, the Clubs, the Diamonds, and the Spades; each title with a Face at the head of it all as a representative. Not everyone is fond of this new system, including the Royals. Now that the Royals have to share power in the school, divided among at least 9 people, things are going to be much more difficult. And what will those without power who dislike the system try to accomplish in difficult times? When the representatives are not as they were expected to be, events can no longer fall into place as they were meant to. What will the new Faces do to the school and will they continue the system?
