During the Vietnam War, a United States Marine Corp. Gunnery Sergeant named Johnny Johnson is headed out to Khe Sanh with at least a dozen other men by helicopter when both helicopters were shot down over a river by the Viet Cong. Johnson must lead him and the men to Khe Sanh through miles of jungle. Will he make it out alive or will he perish?
