But the man in purple is back, with two new victims to boot. But when one narrowly escapes being stuffed in a suit by the Marionette and makes a full recovery, his life doesn't quite go back to normal. Whenever he feels threatened, he zones out, and when he comes back to Earth, those that were threatening him are never found...
