This is my first John and Marlena Fanfiction! I hope you enjoy it. While I mainly write about Strummer, I decided to try to write about my favorite DOOL couple! This story picks up when John finds Marlena at the "new" Maison Blanche. I am hoping to fill in some holes we all wished had been filled. I hope you enjoy it!

A Days of Our Lives story about Marlena finally coming to terms with all that has happened to her in her life. She experiences PTSD and must be hospitalized for treatment. Everyone thinks she is well, but she has one last battle with her Fear that could cost her her life if John cannot reach her in time.

John is discharged from the hospital post-aneurysm. After a burgers and beer at the pub, he and Marlena finally get a chance to talk.

John wakes up from his aneurysm repair surgery. John and Marlena reconnect.

Recent events bring Marlena's past trauma back to the surface. She struggles to confide in John about parts of her life from before they met.

John left Salem in 1993, and two years later Stefano has drawn him back in, by kidnapping Marlena. John, Marlena, and Roman are pulled in as Pawn's in one last game plotted out by Stefano DiMera's diabolical mind. What happens when past lovers reconnect, and the real truth behind Stefano's hatred for the Brady's comes to light?
