Nico is the 16 year old daughter of Admiral Zhao. Not only is she the daughter of Zhao but the granddaughter of Bumi, from her mother's side. After her mother's death, Nico was forbidden from seeing Bumi or leaving the Fire Nation. After her father has found out the Avatar is alive, he takes it upon himself to capture the Avatar, Nico is fascinated and tags along with her father. What will happen when Nico meets her old friend Prince Zuko along the way?

Over 100 years ago, Azulon's younger sister, Princess Azami, disappeared while on a trip to visit the Earth Kingdom city of Ba Sing Se. Her entire ship vanished without a trace, and the fate of the young Princess was never determined. Until now. Present day; the Fire Nation is winning the war against the Earth Kingdom and the Water Tribes. The Avatar has finally returned, after a century in hiding, and with him comes someone the world had long believed dead. How will the the Princess react to a world at war, when she never even knew it happened? --- Book 1; Finished. Book 2; In progress. Note; My first fanfic so tbh expect at least some, if not a lot of cringe writing. I wholeheartedly welcome any criticism to help improve the writing or the narrative, just try and avoid outright bashing of the story if you can. This will largely follow the plot of ATLA, with probably only a little deviation in the main story. Don't expect a word-for-word repeat though, as I'll often want to add a twist to work within the narrative I'm trying to tell. Things have officially gone to shit...AGAIN. In the aftermath of Azula's attack in Ba Sing Se, (Y/n) has to cope with Sokka and Aang being incapacitated, and worst of all, she wonders if things can ever go back the way they were. She learns that sometimes, the universe may deal shitty hands at her, but sometimes... the universe looks out for her, too, through Sokka, Aang, Toph, and Katara. Or, (Y/n) is the one who has shocking revelations, Sokka is lovesick, Aang doubles down on his scheming, and this time he has Toph and Katara to help.

You, the reader, woke up on a ship and discovered that you had been transported to the Avatar universe. You have to work with the GAng and figure out your past while traveling the world. But things are different. This isn't like the show, and you realize that you are the only one who can fix things. You find love, too, I guess. (I swear this has been troubling me for months. I keep thinking of that jackass Sokka and I just can't do anything else, so I decided to write this book until the feeling wears off.)

They learn to live with their choices and play with the hand the universe deals them, and that they cannot change what has happened. They go forward with the knowledge that they know better now. They keep walking, getting up when they fall. They let go of the fears of their pasts to become the best version of the person they are. Or, Aang plays match-maker against his friends, Katara has to keep cleaning up their messes, Sokka is more protective, (Y/n) is exhausted. Note-Sokka is 17-18 years here instead of being younger.
