Interracial. Romance blossoms between George Harrison and Annette Grant of The Debutantes, a member of a black girl group from New York (Loosely based on The Ronettes), during The Beatles Christmas Show. The story begins at the end of December 1963. This story is a follow-up to The Nearest To My Heart but is told with a focus on George and Annette's romance.

That is, until the bubble bursts and Lola and George have to decide what it is they really feel for each other. Is it really love? Or did they get caught up in the idea of falling in love?

Holly DuPont spent the majority of her life wondering what things would be like if John Lennon had not died on that fateful night in December of 1980. As an adult working for the CIA, she suddenly finds herself involved in a secret project in which her lifelong wonderings become plausible. Should Holly risk her career, and more importantly her life, to travel back in time and prevent John's death? I just always have loved him... But sometimes, love isn't enough." When Hannah and her sister, Minnie meet the members of a rock and roll group, their lives change. Hannah quickly falls for the young guitarist, George, but things aren't as simple as they appear. Hannah and Minnie have to leave Liverpool, they have to run away from home, but leaving George behind seems unthinkable. Before Hannah and Minnie can put their plan into action, the Silver Beatles get a gig in Germany - a three month engagement in Hamburg. Using the opportunity to 'visit' the boys in Hamburg, Hannah and Minnie finally escape Liverpool all together but when it transpires George will have to go home early, Hannah can't go home with him. And she can't explain why. Saying goodbye to George breaks Hannah's heart. She and Minnie leave Germany and Hannah doesn't think she'll ever see her first love again, but fate and destiny has other plans for The Beatles, and for Hannah and George as well. This story is really six stories in one. Each part could be read as it's own separate story, or read all parts together to experience the very up and down relationship between Hannah and George, through Beatlemania and beyond.
