Artemis Crock ran away from her abusive home to Starling City where she becomes adopted to Oliver Queen. While Oliver goes away for a long term business trip, with no one to watch over her. Artemis moves to Central City to Oliver's other adopted kid Roy Harper. In Central City, her whole life turns around.

Artemis is in the police force with a part-time volunteer job at the archery compound. Wally West is a womanizing trainer at the local gym. Artemis thinks she doesn't need a man to be happy, but then she runs into a certain red headed jokester and something in her heart changes. Wally thinks his life of one night stands is fulfilling, but then he feels something missing in his heart until he runs into a certain blonde haired bombshell.
