Born in a society that preaches perfection and condemns any flaw, Lane is lucky to have made it past his childhood. He was the pride's biggest flaw, a cruel reminded to the arrogant shifters that even with their pure bloodlines, something could still go wrong. Lane was born partially blind after an incident that claimed his mother. And now he had the whole pride sniffing at his heels. Soon enough, they would unleash their furry.

*Credits and acknowledgement are given at the end of the story description. Thank you." The Prince- on the outside has everything, known by everyone, leading life predictable as one of the elite- high and mighty prince, but inside, lonely and searching for some sparks in his life, feeling he is missing something, not knowing it is a part of his soul. The Commoner - on the outside kept to oneself, nobody took notice of, leading a silent and 'normal' life as one of the common everyday people- a quiet genius, with the mental ability rivaling that of the late Einstein, but beneath his outer layer lies a man so naive, you would not believe how much. CREDITS AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT With all due respect I would like to give full credits to the original owners of the pictures I used in this story. I do not claim them as my own. I used them because I personally adore qingyu couple, so I had to use them as the basis for the characters in my story. Hats off to my fellow qingyu shippers who made all those delectable pictures available. You are my heroes. Again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My heart pulsated through my chest and I didn't think I could hold on for much longer. The frightening, terrorising feeling of his fingers slipping through mine was causing the arm that was gripping to the edge of the cliff to shake. "Hold on, Harry! I've got you, I swear! Please, just hold on!" my voice held a shrill of terror to it and my eyes were filling with tears; tears of pain, frustration and sheer horror. Harry moved his gaze from our slipping fingers to my eyes. "It's okay, Ethan. Let go. You can't save me; not this time." I hated how calm his tone was. I hated how defeated he sounded. He had never given up - we always held hope for one another! We never gave up. "Don't you say that to me! Don't you fucking say that to me!" I roared, a small sob escaping my lips. Harry just smiled sadly, his muscular, beautiful body swaying in the harsh wind. The fall was so big; he would surely die of a heart attack before he hit the ground. I prayed to God he would. No. I was breaking my own rule; I would not give up on him. Either both of us lived or neither of us would. My life would be over the second his ended, anyway.
