He whimpered a little bit and for a second I saw adoration in his eyes, but he pushed it back, giving me a blank stare. "I am sorry. I needed to do this. You can reject me now." He looked a little taken aback. "You were going to reject me. I just thought we both needed to experience this only once. You are the future Alpha, so I should not be the one to break the bond. Please do it now!" I do not why, but I wanted him to do it. After all, he was going to do it before and I did not want a kiss to change his mind. "I Caleb King, reject you Anna Amores as my mate." I think I could hear my heart break in that second. "I Anna Amores, accept your rejection, Alpha, and I wish the best for you, always." I gave him an honest smile... The characters are highly complex and they exist in a world that values strength over compassion, only the strong survive. The life inside the pack mimics that of a real wolf pack with a strict hierarchy that is established through fighting and power. It is also comparable to a medieval court, the king holds his divine right to rule and the queen exists solely to please and support the king. Throw in scheming courtiers with the ability to change into wolves with sharp claws and fangs and you have the pack construct. As the characters are basically wolves housed in a human skin and the story is laced with animalistic references and traits displayed by all. We first meet the main characters Meela and Grey it is on a bloody battlefield where they recognize each other as their soul mate, and Grey takes Meela as tribute for his pack's help in her brother's fight. From this point on Meela belongs to Grey, and in this world, a highly spirited female with a propensity for impulsive actions matched to a dog stubborn, self-assured, dominant male is going to cause problems. We follow Meela in her journey to become the pack's Luna, a pack who are even more wolf than the one she comes from, and with a mate who has set the highest standards for her to reach as his Luna(female Alpha) and will accept nothing less than perfection. In the midst of all this and the struggle they face to form a personal and public relationship, there is one incident that will change them both and the fate of the pack completely. From that point on both Meela and Grey are inevitably changed and for them to be together, either one or both needs to change, but when you live in a world where you are taught that weakness is easily exploited and to admit defeat can potentially lead to your destruction. Just when the world is about to get hectic between rouges and packs, the goddess promises a saviour to rescue the innocent and punish the evil. They will face many hardships with their friends and family, to help them through this the goddess also promises a guider who will stay beside the saviour and assist with these problems. They will have the power to know when this Great War will come. The saviour will be granted 3 random powers which will assist them which will be develop depending on several situations they are put in. The saviour and their mate will be the most powerful pair no-one will be able to go against their command, not even the strongest alphas or even the king and queen of wolves, but this will not happen until they have mated. They will risk their lives to save the weak. If they succeed in saving the wolves, They will be given the choice of leaving the world and becoming the next god/goddess or to stay on earth with their loved ones. An event will happen which will make them doubt their own heart, and depending on their answer they will be greatly rewarded. This will come true as it was prophesied. They will be unique and distinctive as the saviours coat will be white. The only true white wolf that will live during this time.
