Prom night, and Mike is being a loner, watching his bests friends having the time of their lives. Then he see's someone shady, and that's when the world become a world full of superheroes and villians.

But when they come back home they find that someone wants them dead, especially Mike. Spoilers IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE OTHER GODDAMN VOLUMES!!!) 2 years have passed since The Rejects have stopped being heroes and most lead normal lives and Gifted have stopped committing crimes that much and are now the new norm. But when a serial killer starts hunting down Gifted and almost killed one of the Rejects old school friend, will that be the spark to reunite the team, or will the sins of the past creep out from the graves to make these friends distrust each other?

A few months pass after Mike left the team in the hands of Jess, and the city is still rebuilding after Domino's attack. When six new yet familiar beings come into town, will even the return of Mike be able to save the city?

A portal, an axe from the stars, 5 heroes... or murderers? The Rejects have their hands tied. But can they deal with that and also stop a Wizard from taking over the world?

The team's been doing their thing, saving the city, ordering pizza, being friends. Then Jess gets kidnapped by someone who believes to be the smartest person ever, and they have a team of tron Rejects, like the heroes of the story. Can Jess win this game of deadly Chess, and can the team function without their leader?
