This is my first story so please bear with me. If you have not read, or aren't done with, The Selection by Kiera Cass, I suggest that you do not read this story. This is a story about what would happen if the last few chapters of Kiera Cass's "The One" were erased. And I've replaced them. It picks up right after Maxon's mean, mean words to America. And I just didn't think he deserved her after saying those things. She is injured, and taken to the Northern's Base Camp to heal. Kriss Ambers is selected instead of America. What happens when America becomes a rebel, and might even get a third chance at love with a mysterious rebel leader? OC x America story All rights to Kiera Cass.

Maxon has just picked Kriss as the One. But four months in the relationship Maxon comes to see that Kriss is so not the one for him. In fact America is. When secrets are revealed Maxon has no choice but to bring back the Elite.

To bring even more joy to the kingdom America has a surprise but on the night she is to tell maxon a new group of rebels raid the palace and captor the king and Queen.
