A collection of my poems about love, crushes, depression, feeling lonely and pretty much all the emotions I go through as an angsty teenager :P Hope you enjoy! I've been adding to this book since I was 15 (I'm 21 now). The poems get better as the book progresses (and as I've gotten older), so you might want to start reading from the latter chapters! IMPORTANT: Wattpad won't let me add more poems to this book anymore, so everything I've written in 2023 and after (and everything I'll write in future) is in my other book "Shadows and Silhouette." My writing has improved over the years, so I'd recommend reading that instead haha, but feel free to read in a chronological order. Highest rating: #2 in poetry

❝I was with you before we were even born.❞ Adessa and Vanessa are the youngest of the Ivanov's. After years of living half-way across the world from their family, they finally go to live with them. But in a world full of lies, secrets, and death, their life takes a dangerous turn. Atrocious events follow the Ivanovs like a second shadow wherever they go. They have everything; money, control, power, dances on the tip of their fingers. But that everything wasn't enough to save something close to them. Now with the two new addition to their family, they are keen on not making the same mistakes that almost took everything they had in the past. And they did, just until a thread is pulled, starting a chain of events that reveals hidden secrets from the shadows. With an underlying threat, someone hellbent on ending them, a guardian angel, and a load full of secrets, complete mayhem breaking out is inevitable. Will they survive the problems the universe throws at them? ~ "Mayhem flows in our veins and we'll be damned if we let it go to waste."

The advice you will find here follows the Chicago Manual of Style which is widely used by American publishers. There are some variances in style from country to country (and even from American publisher to American publisher.) **It may be easier to search the Table of Contents, as there is no rhyme or reason right now to chapter order.**
