Psalm 95:7a - "For He is our God" Secularists and even many Christians view the God of the Bible as a powerful tyrant, bent on always getting His way. They believe that He is powerful, true, but there is no fondness or admiration in their eyes toward their Creator. They see only what they want to see, the negative aspects, and they refuse to look deeper into scripture to find out what He is truly like. Those of us with the courage to look beyond the point where others stop are met with a much different God. In a sense their is no way for us to describe God. He is far too great for us to even begin to wrap our minds around Him, and that's okay. It's enough to know that He is our God, and we are His people. He loves us deeply, deeper than any human could ever begin to imagine. He knows everything about us, and He holds us in the palm of His hand. He is your God. He is my God. He is our God. Why do so many people on this planet believe in a divine being? Is it logical to believe in one? There are so many claims by so many religions, so which is real and logical? Religious sects cannot even agree amongst themselves on doctrines, how can there be a One true divine being then? Why do Christians believe this? Can 'evolution' and 'God' co-exist? This book uses logic and modern day examples to explain the numerous questions that may flood atheists, agnostics and Christians alike. The first section deals with the logic of a divine being, the second deals with specific issues in Christianity, and the third section contains some of the personal psalms and reflections on things that a Christian might face and struggle. Each section contains a collection of articles, some academic, some reflective, and some argumentative. As society progresses in the direction of science and technology, logic and scientific validation plays an increasing role in everyday thought processes. In the scientific and logical world, religion, faith, and beliefs get continuously challenged. Many once-faithful Christians may begin to question their Christian beliefs, or get confused on the validity of the numerous doctrines and teachings of various Christian sects. Similarly, the agnostic is thrown into confusion amongst the claims of many religions and their sects on the 'Truth'. On the other end of the spectrum, the hard-core atheist begins to question the intelligence of more than 50 % of the world population that believe in some sort of divine being(s). The book utilizes logical arguments, and expositions of modern day examples in hopes to bring a clearer picture to issues dealing with a divine creator, the search for the truth, and certain issues in Christianity.

"The Year was 1857, and it was an unusually hot fall day in the little town of Callieburg, Texas. With a population of 307 people, Callieburg was the smallest town on this side of Texas. Despite the unseasonable heat, there were young children running up and down the dirt roads. Women were gossiping, sitting in rocking chairs in front of Jackson's General Store, drinking sweet tea. There were the occasional families riding in wagons, were just passing through, perhaps going to a town further west." Callieburg is a pretty typical Western town, but, just like most towns in the 1800s, it has it's own share of dangers. Sonny and Jeweldean McAurthur enjoy their ranch life on their 2,600 acres. With a growing family, Sonny works nearly twenty fours hours a day, seven days a week, just so his family can get by. However, when Sonny is involved in a freak accident, he is captured by some nasty bandits, and sees the bad, dangerous side of Callieburg. The trek for Sonny to find his way back home to his beloved family will not be easy. With God on his side, will Sonny be able find his way home, or will the journey back be too treacherous?
