Emma Chota is just an average teenage girl who has eating disorder Anorexia Nervosa, ok she maybe isn't just an average teenager. Anyway because of her disorder she has to move to Ocean Park Hospital. In Ocean Park she meets a guy named Leo who has osteosarcoma, cancer in his leg. Leo's rude, cool and good-looking, typical bad boy. Back home she never really had friends, except Lucy. But Lucy moved to Australia three years ago. Since that Emma's only friend was her little sister Finley, but she is only ten. Follow Emma and her new life at Ocean Park. Will she be able to make new friends at Ocean Park or will she, again, be known again as 'the lonely girl'? Will she fall in love with a bad boy or will she be able to resist?

Emma must make a choice between the two boys who mean most to her. In the end it isn't about friendship, but love. Who will make her feel at home?

I don't own Red Band Society. This is going to be about the lovely Emma Chota (my favorite character) and the awesome Leo Roth (my other favorite). There will also be cameos from the other characters.

Emma Chota is anorexic. No doubt about it. She was discharged wrongly from Ocean Park hospital, on account of false weight gain. Once she had a bad episode, she was readmitted. But that doesn't mean her mind is any better. After a Cardiac Arrest, and a medically induced coma, she must piece together what happened between her, Leo Roth, a salad, a stairwell, and one big chain of lies.
