Camp half-blood is in chaos. Camp Jupiter just can't think straight anymore. Why? Because the only demigod son of Hades, Nico Di Angelo, is missing. No one knows where he went, why or how but they are determined to find him. The only person who seems to have an idea of his whereabouts is Hades but he has locked up the underworld and refuses to tell our heroes anything. Nico's sister Hazel is frantic and his boyfriend Will is worried out of his mind. But Hades can't throw the rest of the gang into this mess. No, it would be better if his son Nico does this on his own.

The Giant War had finally ended. Everything was peaceful, or as everybody thought so. Luke makes a sudden reappearance, and everything in Percy's life tumbles down. Suddenly, he's being sent to a school called Hogwarts, who have accepted him inspite of his disastrous Math grade. But they teach more of Potions, Charms, Transfiguration amend Herbology than Algebra and English. Apollo's spirit of Delphi has disappeared. The prophecies cannot continue without it. Strange things are happening, all at once, and as far as Percy's life goes, he's never met a coincidence. Just monsters who need to be killed.

When Percy Jackson and his friends finally defeat Mother Earth and send the giants to literal hell, all Percy wants to do is settle down with his girlfriend Annabeth Chase. So of course, the complete opposite happens. When the Fates (whom Percy decided had something against his happiness) cast yet another evil grandfather into Percy's way, Percy is thrown into a world of witchcraft and wizardry, not to mention deceit and betrayal. Because really, what else can you expect when your grandfather is Voldemort?

Percy has been through a lot, being kidnapped, having his memory wiped, several battles, two wars. He does not need anything else to happen. Too bad the wizards, which are real apparently (!?), didn't get the memo. Well, you know the phrase, when in Rome. (Heh, Rome, get it?) (After BoO and during Order of the Phoenix.) Everyone knew that the dark lord was a power hungry and heartless wretch. But no one thought he could stoop any lower. The dark lord sired a grandchild and a powerful one at that. This grandchild in none other than the hero of Olympus: Percy Jackson. Here I was, chilling at camp when my mom calls me home and I find two really weird people on the couch. Then I'm whisked into this wizarding world where I've got to kill another grandpa of mine. Just great. Can't the fates give me a break?
