Ever wonder what it would be like to steal?
No, not in the kleptomaniac sense. More in the Robin Hood sense. Doing a sin for the greater good, how deliciously paradoxical is that?
Now, imagine being me. A sixteen-year-old who has lived in the clutches of his father for way too long. I wish to bring about a change to this world and in the process learn to become my own person.
So, how did I decide to do it?
I joined a modern-day thief's guild with my best friend, Tristan.
It was a stupid idea.
At least there's Josie (she's the love interest; she's very scary). The two of us are from completely different worlds and yes, that's going to have an impact on our relationship (I doubt you can call it a relationship; all I know is that it's not very healthy). There might also be a jealous third party, or Tristan might just be making things up for his own entertainment.
This is my coming-of-age story. I will try to avoid cliché's (or give note of them where they are due), I will try to tell the whole truth (sorry if I leave out some things, Tristan, but I don't exactly have the line of sight that your towering height provides) and I will try to convince you that whoever you are and whatever your circumstances, you can always turn it around.
