A Drarry fanfiction based upon a simple question - what if Draco had met Harry in a different way to how it happened in the books? I try to follow JK's basic storyline so it seems similar to the books and movies, but with some differences (obviously) to make the Drarry happen.

Voldemort's been defeated. Death eaters like Lucius are in Azkaban, and Harry, Ron, Hermione and others have been invited back to Hogwarts to catch up on their lessons. Harry find Draco alone in the Forbidden Forest, trying to master a spell that he insists will bring him happiness. Harry decides to help him, and as time goes by, old grudges are forgotten and replaced with new feelings.

Nobody wishes to know what Harry Potter was doing behind the closed doors of the Room of Requirement when everyone in the castle is asleep. But Draco Malfoy is daring enough to investigate about it. Harry has had weird years at Hogwarts, but his sixth year is possibly the most confusing and weirdest year. Hermione is moody, Snape keeps disappearing, Professor Dumbledore seems to hide something from him and Draco Malfoy is acting strange and clingy around Harry. This might prove to be the weirdest year at Hogwarts yet.

It's another year at Hogwarts, and it doesn't really seem like a lot has changed. A whole summer had passed since the war between the students and teachers of Hogwarts, against Voldemort and his Death Eaters, meaning that the break was over and it was time to go back to school for muggles, but more importantly, Harry and his two best friends would be returning back to their beloved school of Witchcraft and Wizardry for a final year. However, not all is fine and dandy, seeing as none other than Draco Malfoy and his minions would be returning to the same school also. Some people really don't change, and Draco hasn't in the slightest. Still being the smug, immature boy that he is, he continues to taunt and pick on Harry despite the fact that Harry had once saved his life during the war. But who knows? Maybe hatred isn't really what sits underneath the surface between these two teenage boys. Perhaps Draco just picks on Harry because he wants his attention, he just won't come to that conclusion...
