Dick Grayson, older brother to three insufferable younger brothers (who he loves very much) and Gotham City's most eligible bachelor (or was it second? He didn't really keep track). Of course he had plans for a fine Saturday night. Getting called out by Gotham's own maniacal terrorist -- The Joker; yes, the Joker -- on national television, was not one of them. If that wasn't bad enough, now the Joker had all of Gotham City's criminals -- or more than half of the population -- right under his thumb. And you guessed it; now all of them are out to get the Wayne brothers! But the Wayne boys are more than just pretty faces and pockets overflowing with money; they are the Batman's protégés, the elusive elite band of vigilantes who fight crime and protect the city every night. With all of Gotham's worst criminals after them though, protecting their secret identities will be a challenge. So Batman has decided to call in the Young Justice team to help protect his sons. The Young Justice team came in expecting to be protecting some rich kids who had the misfortune to catch the eye of the Joker. Gobber couldn't convince Stoick to let Hiccup into the ring for dragon training, but situation gets complicated, when Hiccup faces a Monstrous Nightmare during a raid again. Except this time things go very differently thanks to certain black dragon. Over time an unbreakable bond is formed between two lonely souls.

Direct continuation to Another Nightmare book 1, strongly recommended to read that first. Hiccup and Fishlegs finally did it, they left Berk with the dragons, but what next. Even after getting away from the queen, they need to survive on their own while some of their new flock get into new trouble. A new enemy seeks to separate Hiccup and Toothless, but will they hide and pray sufficiently?

Hiccup is banished from Berk for befriending a dragon, a Vikings mortal enemy, rejected for the last time, Hiccup leaves Berk after the Vikings spit on his vision of peace with dragons and he is the only one who knows where the dragons nest is and the monster that sleeps within its mountains. Ten years later, the Barbaric Archipelago has heard of a new tribe called the 'Strike Clan' which is led by Hiccup and the island has become very prosperous for both man and dragons. With the dragon raids growing worse however each village pays a visit to the Strike Clan because they posses one man, that can end this madness. That man is the Dragon Master. However not all the tribes wish for the raids to end, the Outcasts and the Berserkers ally themselves and plot something that spells disaster for both man and dragons. Hiccup and his Strike Clan will protect the dragons to death if they have to, but can they stop the alliance between the two deadly tribes? Or is there something darker lurking in the shadows?

Bruce Wayne never went to the circus on the day the Graysons died, meaning he never adopted their orphaned son, Richard. Dick went to a Juvenile Detention Centre for eight months before spending a year going in and out different foster homes, each one rejecting him, now he's in a Gotham orphanage. Five years after the Graysons death, and there's a new black haired, blue eyed thief in Gotham, nobody knows who he is, it's a mystery. So that's what they've called him- Mystery. Mystery constantly annoys the Justice League and their sidekicks, occasionally helping out when it suits him. The Justice League know nothing about the young boy and its starting to frustrate them, especially Batman. What happens when they find out that Mystery is just Richard Grayson, a messed up orphan?
