It's 1967. Castiel Novak is a small musician, and he mostly plays small bars. He hasn't really made a name for himself, but he works hard to. The one thing he wants is to make it big and finally get a taste of real fame. Dean Winchester is one of the biggest musicians there is. He's well known by almost everyone, and his songs are constantly on the radio. However, this is all too much for Dean. He would much rather be a small musician playing small bars and the occasional venue, but he knows that life is gone, so he tries his best to drown it all out. When the two meet, the two are both quite envious of the others life. They figure, they might as well try to help each other out, which is easy for Dean. However, it's much more difficult for Castiel to help Dean out, so he helps in other smaller ways, that might just make the two fall for each other. [disclaimer: I do not own any characters. When Castiel Novak finally gets Dean Winchesters attention, everything is perfect. His whole world is made, until Crowley shows up. He has different ideas.

Feelings of doubt were rising in Castiel's heart, was Dean Winchester really cheating to his pregnant wife or was it all just to cover the wife's cheat on her husband? Was it really Dean's unborn child? Was he so much in love that he couldn't see the Winchester as a cheater? What was real anymore?

Prince Castiel of Paradina has always followed his father's orders, and he's always wanted to protect his people, which is why he didn't argue when his father told him he would be escorting his sister Hannah to the kingdom across the lake for her to marry Prince Dean of Terren. Hannah is nervous, and so is Castiel, but Sam and Dean Winchester and their friends help put the two of them at ease. But not long after their arrival, an attempt is made on Hannah's life. A case comes up at a councelling retreat and Sam, Dean and Cas go to check it out. Sam snatches up the only job vacancy forcing Cas and Dean to go in as a couple. None of them expect the events that unfold (but they kinda do).

Dean gets dragged along to a charity event for the company his brother works for. He expected to maybe buy a few things and leave, but then he meets a guy out in the parking lot who is shivering in the falling temperatures. Compelled to talk to the handsome stranger he learns that his name is Castiel, and he is stressed out. He has agreed to help his brother out with an auction that he really didn't want any part of. Curiosity had always been Dean's downfall, and the moment he learned that a date with the handsome man was up for auction, well, he couldn't resist placing a bet of his own. It triggers a war.
