Max at first glance is an unruly, unstable, and unpredictable child. He would curse anywhere at anytime, but that was just a shell of who he truly is. After Parent's Day, there was still half a summer to go. Most everyone had been back in a good mood after getting to see their parents again, but Max was still his own self. As the days grew closer to the last day of camp, David started to see a change in Max's behavior. When the day finally arrived, David saw just how terrible Max's parents actually were. Now David has to fight to get Max in to a loving home.
