Solangelo vampire AU Will is a vampire, and the son of the coven leader. But to the irritation of his father and the disgust of the majority of the vampire race, he refuses to drink human blood and lives off animals. He meets Nico, who has been taken in by his guards, but is then sentenced to death by his father under the ruse of trespassing and for some reason, he just can't let the boy die. So much to everyones surprise, Will takes his first blood slave. Nico was happy with his life, more or less, till he's kidnapped by vampires. He's finally saved, but it seems even his new captors don't find him worth keeping. To his surprise, he's taken in by a boy whom they say will now be his master. But his troubles don't end there. Enjoy! / WPOV- I watched in awe as the carriage door opened and the guards carelessly hefted a small boy out. He appeared to be unconscious and I panicked when I saw the blood dripping from his jet black hair. "Be careful with him! He's hurt!" I yelled. They only shrugged and placed the boy in my arms. My heart surged. After one look at him, I saw how completely beautiful he was. \ NPOV- I scrambled to my feet, terrified of what the prince would do with me, but my head pounded and I felt my legs shake and give out. I shut my eyes tight as I started to fall, but just before I hit the ground, a pair of strong, but gentle arms wrapped around me, yet again. I opened my eyes to see the Prince's worried eyes as he held me steady in his arms.

Nico di Angelo used to be happy. But that was eight years before his life was ruined. Eight years before he was kidnapped. Eight years since he wasn't afraid. Will Solace somehow gets tangled into Nico's life. He eagerly welcomes Nico as his friend, shows him how wonderful the world can be, and that some people are there for important reasons. Will teaches him to be brave. WARNINGS: This contains many forms of abuse, violence, and sexual assault. Prince Will Solace is trapped by fists and knives behind the golden facade of the castle. Also behind those opulent gates, nekos-beings who can transform into cats-are oppressed and treated as mere servants. Among them is Nico di Angelo, a neko with a mysterious past but a strong talent for somehow managing to make the prince believe that perhaps everything is going to be okay. They spend their nights in the castle kitchens, becoming accustomed to each other's presence far more quickly than either would be willing to admit. That is, until things that a turn, and life very quickly becomes very /not/ okay. Nico and Will each pack their bags, not realizing that they're not the only ones fleeing tonight. Will Solace is seen as the happy one in the relationship. The one with few problems. The one who holds Nico together. But it's the other way around. Will's life isn't as happy as he makes it seem. He doubts himself and Nico is always there to hold him close when the sun sets. Nico has been a recovering self harmer for years. Will doesn't know this. Will Nico break under the stress of holding things together, or will he find strength in his support system. After all, even the sunset is hard for the child of darkness. (This story is literally pure angst. Major trigger warning. Lots of self harm, thoughts of suicide, and recovery attempts failing. I don't support self harm in anyway, this is just about the trials and tribulations of self harm recovery. Please don't read if this will trigger you.)
