She told him not to do it but he took his life anyway. Told in free-verse poetry with sparse limerick/rhyming qualities, you don't know their names, but you'll forever remember their story. #Wattys2014

Christine Evans doesn't remember why she played her hand in the suicide game, or why the boy with eyes of red urged her to. Christine Evans couldn't understand why, on the anniversary of that same attempted suicide, a boy with eyes of indigo appeared seemingly out of nowhere and why he looked so damn familiar. Christine Evans, as surely all heroines are, is special and caught in a dance between two men with eyes of colour no eyes should have any business being. What might be the price of the truth behind an attempted suicide and the cost of understanding the mystery around Red and Indigo? Christine Evans may just have to risk more than her soul to find out. My days, is this blurb pretentious enough...please do let me know...

Sick of being ignored because of her looks, Kennedy gives herself a makeover but it isn't very successful. After encountering a crying Marissa Rivers on the behalf of her obnoxious brother, Noah, she becomes acquaintances with the girl. After a chat about Kenna's failed efforts at makeup and how she's a nondrinker, she offers Kenna the help of her and her friends. Kenna graciously agrees but there's a catch. Kenna will have to be the girls' designated driver to the next few parties that they want to attend until she can do her own makeup which may take a while but what happens when Kenna accidentally gets drunk at one of the parties and Noah has to bring her and the other girls back to their home? She gets involved in a lot more than she planned. And it seems as if all she wanted was to become beautiful.
