He wanted nothing more than to get away from his abusive aunt, uncle, and cousin and get to see his friends and finally return home. But it's not the home he once thought. Professor Umbridge arrives to the school and resorts everyone, and Harry...gets placed into Slytherin. With the whole school now bullying him, his constant reoccurring nightmares getting worse, Harry no longer sees the point in living. He loses all his faith. But can a pale, blonde haired boy change the way Harry sees himself? And can Draco pull him out of the ground before he gets buried? This story will only follow a few things from the original book/movie. Umbridge is there, Harry still gets a lot of detentions from her, and his nightmares continue. Sirius will not die at the end of this and Harry and the rest of the gang don't end up going to the ministry. After the battle of Hogwarts, Draco Malfoy ran away from the death eaters and returned to Hogwarts for the eighth year. This year, Hogwarts decides to do a student exchange program between the houses. Four unfortunate students are picked from all of the eighth-year students, one from each house, and they are put into one of the other three houses for a whole month. What will happen when Harry Potter is chosen and transferred to Slytherin to share a dorm with his arch-enemy, Draco Malfoy? Warning: I have been writing this story since middle school, I'm now in highschool and about a quarter of the way through. The updates are not regular and this story will likely not be finished soon, so if you're looking for a complete story this isn't it! It is a slow burn after all.
