She asks too many questions and can never sit still for too long. She prefers to train with her father's army instead of carrying out the normal duties that the daughter of a chief would carry out. Now, with the threat of war, she cannot sit by and wait for the enemy's army to come to her home. So she sets out on a quest to help her father, her people and the man she has come to see as more than a friend. While on her journey she meets many unusual people and creatures. She gets a helping hand from old friends and loved ones and goes on a trip which has her doing incredible things which she had never in her wildest imagination dreamt she would ever do. In this sequel to "Once Upon an African Moon", Sebaga's sister shows that she is much more than just Sebaga's little sister. She shows that she is truly a force to be reckoned with. (Please note that this book has been published so only the first 4 chapters are up. The rest is available on Amazon Kindle.) Sebaga is the Chief's daughter. She lives in a small village in Botswana, Southern Africa and has no intention of marrying anyone. Unfortunately, she has no real choice in the matter. It is tradition that she be wed at her age; the ripe old age of eighteen! The Chief has decreed that any man who can tell a story from sun-up to sun-down shall be the one to marry his daughter. Sebaga is not happy with this decision but there is little she can do to change her father's mind. As each day passes and story after story is told, Sebaga worries that her options are running out. If she cannot defy her father by not marrying a man of his choosing, then perhaps she can delay the whole process for a bit longer. However, there is only so much that she can do. Through her family members, as well as other strange and wonderful characters in her life, Sebaga learns life lessons and meets unforgettable characters as we get to experience moments in her life, her parents' lives, her sister's life and perhaps the life of the man who shall tell the longest tale. A long enough tale to become the man that Sebaga marries. _________________________________________________________________________________

"But I'm your-" "I'm your what?!" He cut her off. She flinched at the acidity in his voice. "My wife?" He scoffed inching in on her until he was arms length. His eyes bored into the depths of her soul. He slurred the words with venom dripping from his tone. "You're only a signed contract, nothing more!" * * * "What's that shit doing on your face? you better remove it! you can't be walking on the streets of Chicago wearing that, this isn't your filthy Pakistan!" he ruthlessly spoke with disgust. "You mean my veil?" She questioned with fear placing a hand on her Niqab. "If it isn't obvious" "Please, don't call it that, it's my veil, my identity" "I'm sorry what?" "I can't remove it Saahir, p-please don't make me do this, its a part of me" she begged on the verge of tears. "I said take it off!" He yelled in a deep menacing voice and pulled it off her face throwing it mercilessly on the floor. Fresh tears pooled from her eyes Frustration built through him. He grabbed her shoulder and forcefully dragged her pushing her onto the floor. The floor hit Meeza harder than she had expected. "Oww" she yowled as the pain shot through her shoulder. There are some things you just don't get over. No matter how hard you try, some memories just don't fade away. Even if the edges are hazy, the feelings resurface inside you every time a particular person crosses your mind. Laeeq Abdullah had one such feeling wrapped in barbed wire and pushed inside his heart. For him, every big disaster he's had was a result of love. Then again, like the poets say - "how is the heart not brave, when after shattering a million times, it mends itself and walks ahead?" Leila Muhammad had everything a content muslimah could wish for - except perhaps love. Being the bookworm that she is, she's had enough exposure to know the difference between halaal and haraam. But would her heart be willing to sacrifice itself for someone like Laeeq? Someone who - despite having the best of manners - has been battered in the battlefield of love? After all, it takes a long voyage within qalbs to understand the depths of a situation - which is exactly what this story will do.
