Aiden Gecker isn't the most popular kid at school. He's always getting picked on by the school's head jock, Hudson Hamilton. But one night Aiden encounters a dark, shadowy man who forces Aiden to drink his blood. Aiden dies that same night but awakens to find that he is no longer human. The goths at school find this out and reveal to him that they aren't human either. Aiden soon becomes fond of his new self, and learns how to fight and do amazing things. But, being a vampire isn't all fun and games. Aiden soon encounters many supernatural creatures and runs into a few problems with a powerful vampire.
