Phillip is a scientist who is studying Parallel Universes. After what he thinks is a tragic loss where his boyfriend, Daniel, goes into a coma he builds a machine which sends him into a different world. In this world there are no hover cars and holograms, just taxi's, tea and crumpets. When he enters a less advanced version of his world, he then meets Dan - the spitting image of his supposedly deceased boyfriend, Daniel. How will they react when Phillip and Phil meet? " Or the story of an overenthusiastic boy called Phil, who has trouble shutting up, and a reluctantly mute boy called Dan, who's life is falling apart, and how they both come to realise that sometimes - actions can speak louder than words.

Phil Lester is sweet and cute; known for his kindness and enthusiasm. Dan Howell is a tough, cold outsider; known as the school's stereotypical 'bad boy'. But if he's so bad, then why on earth did he rescue Phil Lester and give him a smile which would melt anyone's heart?

"'I miss you.' 'What do you mean? I'm right here.' He shook his head. 'No, I mean I miss seeing you. I miss your smile. Seeing you smile made me so happy. I'm still so upset that I'll never see it again.' I breathed in, a bit shaky. 'You've just got to remember that if I'm with you, I'm always smiling, okay?' 'I still miss seeing you. If I could have just one opportunity to be able to see again, even just for a moment, I would spend my time just watching you smile. That's all I would want....'" After a horrible accident, Phil loses his sight and goes completely blind. Dan's help has been amazing to get him through it, but Dan can't help falling in love with his best friend - now in daily need of his care and attention. This story is about love and trust, and how two friends - much more than friends - overcome the odds of a disability, and how they realize that no matter how difficult it gets, they will always have each other. Phil Lester hasn't had the best past. He was bullied and tormented because of his sexuality and had no friends for a long time. He then moved to London where he met Chris and PJ who help get his life back on track again. Suddenly he's under a spell when 'The Lonely Prince' - Dan Howell walks into the room and smiles at him. Every time Phil sees Dan he gets butterflies in his stomach. Someone from his past is out for Phil and will do anything to prevent Dan from getting close to him. This is just creative writing.
