When Sookie St. James' young cousin runs away from home and appears on Sookie's doorstep, the bubbly woman is quick to give her a place to stay. Lyra is civil but closed off and Sookie can't seem to connect with her, so employs the help of the Gilmore Girls and the other friends they can wrangle to make her feel more comfortable. Things seem to be going better until something Lyra says starts to concern Lorelei and Rory, and they aren't willing to keep it from Sookie for too long.

This AU story follows Rory on her journey after graduation. She experiences something very traumatic that causes her to shut down. Who comes into Rory's life to bring her out of the darkness? Rory is currently living with her daughter, Lorelai, and Luke. As of right now, Rory still hasn't told Logan that she had his child, and may never. However, this may change as Rory and Logan are forced to reunite at a Yale Alumni party...
