Il était une fois, entre les royaumes d'Armancœur, Rivecœur et Houdancœur, la Fée des Lilas que le hasard avait dotée de nombreux filleuls. À vouloir faire le bien, il arrive que des maladresses se produisent, et tous les dons ne sont pas toujours positifs... Un soir d'hiver, Simon fait la rencontre d'une fée et se montre si poli que ses mots se changent soudain en perles. Exploité par son père, le jeune homme est forcé de s'enfuir en se faisant passer pour muet. Il fait ses adieux à ses meilleurs amis, le valet Cendrillon et Peau d'Âne le souillon, et part à la recherche d'une vie plus douce. Puisque l'aîné a fêté ses trente ans, pourquoi ne pas donner un grand bal où tous les jeunes gens du royaume sont invités ? Un bal costumé, une pincée de magie, un peu de mystère, un prince en fuite dissimulé sous une peau d'âne, de merveilleuses chaussures de verre et une fée marraine... tous les ingrédients sont réunis pour une belle histoire d'amour enchantée. (Cette histoire reprend la trame des contes "Les Fées", "Peau d'Âne", "Cendrillon" et "Riquet à la Houppe" de Perrault, que j'ai déjà réécrits mais que je voulais approfondir. C'est désormais un roman, plus long et plus mature, mais avec toujours autant de magie, d'amour et de douceur.)

En ce jour de 1er décembre, Ryûji Suguro va se promener dans le parc commun des écoles de la Croix Vraie. Il est le seul à aimer sortir dans le froid du mois de décembre. Le parc est vide et Ryûji se permet de se laisser aller à chanter. Il ne veut pas que ses amis sachent son don pour le chant et ne se permet de chanter que quand il est seul, ayant peur de montrer sa passion secrète. Mais cette passion qu'il garde rien que pour lui et qu'il exprime dans ce parc lui fera faire une merveilleuse rencontre. Blue exorcist ne m'appartient pas, seule l'histoire et les personnages inventés m'appartiennent.
