Hanahaki Disease: An illness born from one-sided love, where the patient throws up and coughs up flower petals when they suffer from one-sided love. The infection can be removed through surgery, but the feelings disappear along with the Petals. Lance has hanahaki disease. He thought it was impossible, but it isn't. He knows why. Ever since Keith had left to join the blade of mamora Lance had been upset. He's horrible at ignoring his feelings and now that he's trying to forget it's all coming back. He's in love with Keith. The feelings can't be ignored. The flowers in his lungs won't let them be. He has to choose to except them, or die a horrible death.

Keith is struggling with night terrors and flashbacks to when the Galra had tortured him while he was imprisoned. The only person who has been able to keep him sane while he was on the brink of insanity is Lance. I looked down at the beautiful little angel in my arms as I let the tears fall down my tan face. My other half was dead. I tried to keep my sobs at bay as I didn't want to wake the sleeping angel. This did no good as I let a few slip out waking my poor daughter. She started to cry as well but her being so young she didn't produce tears. my heart broke to see her upset. I slowly rocked her back and fourth singing to her in Spanish. Her cries dulled as she slowly fell back asleep. I sat down in one of the hall chairs to see a doctor walk towards a pale mans with black hair that was sitting a few seats down from me. I had to strain my ears to hear but I heard every word. "I'm so sorry Mr. Kogane but your wife has died from blood loss. Would you like to see you three beautiful babies?" The doctor said grimly. "Maybe in a bit" said 'Mr. kogane' with his voice cracking. The doctor nodded and left the man. 'Mr. Kogane' crumpled to his knees and started sobbing and crying. This woke the baby in my arms but she didn't cry she just looked at me seemingly knowing what was going on.
