Two months since I found out he loved me and wanted to be with me. I've been trying to move on and forget about him, but my heart refuses to listen. Hayden had almost died saving me. Half of me wants to forgive him for everything and give him another chance. The other half prevents me from doing so, distrusting him and ignoring my heart's desires. Hayden is dark and complicated, and as the days pass, he gets further away from me, ignoring me whenever our paths cross. I have less than a year before I go to college, and I won't see him ever again. I have to believe I will get over him and move on with my life. I have to believe in my future without him. Unless he didn't really move on, and our masks are about to fall.

I hoped life would get better when I moved to my mother's hometown, but it only got worse because it was there that I met my unrequited crush, Hayden Black. He despised me from day one, and even more when I became best friends with his twin, Kayden. Kayden gave light to my life, but my happiness with him lasted only until one night two years ago. That night Kayden died because of me. Half of me died with him. The other half was left to bleed, suffering Hayden's and his friends' constant bullying. Now I must endure one more year before I can finally escape them and go to college. This year has to be different. Either I will become stronger, or they will finally break me into nothing. ----------- Highest rank in Romance: #1 on 10/28/2017 Bullied won the Best Romance and the Best Diverse Book award and the Bullied series won the Best Trilogy/Series award in The Fiction Awards 2018. --------- I wrote this novel for #NaNoWriMo2016 #NaNoWinner2016

When Ester Celeste finally used that coupon for free dance lessons with the famous Sierra Stone, she did not expect it to be the start of a new life. Whilst she did want to try out new things and accept new challenges in 2018, Ester wasn't quite so sure about how to do that. As a start, those dance lessons seemed to do the job...until Devon Stone came into the picture. A stubborn, rich and devilishly handsome looking man. Devon made everything harder for Ester without any apparent reason. Well, maybe she shouldn't have kicked him so many times. But Ester just couldn't help it. He would be mean and she just acted out of impulse. He would be inappropriate and Ester once again acted out of impulse. It seemed like the two just didn't get along but the universe kept pushing them together. As if it had a plan for the two. However, the task of facing new challenges was not simple. But Ester still had to do it. Especially when they were thrown her way and she had no other choice than to deal with those challenges... to deal with Devon Stone. . . . (Scene right after Ester first met Devon) Ester sighed and turned around again, just to let out a high pitched scream. Her heartbeat picked up speed within a millisecond when a figure suddenly appeared in front of her. But before she could turn around and run, she realized it was Devon. "What is wrong with you?" He asked her, covering his ear. Ester glared up at him as she pulled her leg back and kicked him in the shin. Devon's eyes widened as he doubled over and held his leg. He let out a pained groan and looked up at Ester in bewilderment. "What the fuck?!" He yelled at her, making her flinch slightly. "What? You scared me, I didn't know it was you." She smirked, letting Devon know how much of that statement was true. "You bitch." He straightened his back and grabbed Ester by the shirt as he roughly pulled her towards him. She gasped and placed her hands on his chest, trying to build some distance between them. . . .

Lilah James has never had any troubles with getting into a club, even though she was not 'of age' yet. Still, no bodyguard ever demanded to see her ID. That all seemed to change when a handsome, tall and not to forget tattooed-to-his-neck bodyguard came in the game. Before she knew it, he had denied her entrance to the city's local club. She was beyond embarrassed, but over all angry at him. He was just doing his job, she knew. Yet she couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more behind it. Especially after seeing him let teenagers in. He didn't ask for their ID's, but Lilah could swear they looked like ten! She's never met him before and really wasn't planning on getting to know that handsome, ink covered devil. But after she discovered what he did when he wasn't guarding the club, she knew she would never hear the end of it. Especially because of her brother's interest in fights and his unmistakable admiration for one specific fighter: Prince Charmink. »»» "Jason." I hissed at my brother. "What?" He asked absentmindedly. "That's him." I whispered, eyeing the three men in the cage. Prince Charming stood tall and proud with a knowing smirk on his face. "Yes, I know. He's my favourite too." He informed me and I scoffed. "No, you dumbass. He's the bodyguard I was talking about." I snapped at Jason and his eyes widened. "You mean he was the one who didn't let you in?" He almost stuttered. "Yes." I nodded and looked back at the man who hadn't left my mind in a week. I could feel my anger rising again as I glared at his smug facial expression. As if sensing my eyes on him, his confident look faltered and it got replaced by a surprised one as his eyes settled on me. My eyes widened and I looked away. Jason's breath hitched. "He's glaring at you." He whispered and then he gulped. "Now he's glaring at me."
