I have, quite brilliantly but quite accidentally, totally and completely screwed up my life. My name is often preceded by an "oh". "Oh, Charlie..." "Oh, Charlotte..." and then is usually followed by "...What did you get yourself into this time?" It's my norm. But I'm gonna change that. Starting tomorrow... It's the last night of 2014 and though I'm in bed with yet another stranger, I am determined to change my life around this year. No more one night stands, no more dating commitment phobia boys, no more drinking till I can't remember that party I went to, no more smoking a whole purse of cigarettes....This year, I will change and I will get my life together even if I have to write down my resolutions list on the back of a condoms receipt. ....But knowing me...this is gonna turn into a disaster.

"Baby we're the new romantics. The best people in life are free." Perfectly messed up. That's what Jamie called us. We all had our scarlet letters in our open books, completely ready to show whoever wanted to see them and completely ready to make more marks on them if we got the chance. We'd reached our point; playing it cool didn't cut it anymore and we were all bored. But we found a solution. A crazy notion really. And with a mascara smudged nod and glitter falling from our hair we danced and tripped, rather ungracefully at times, into strange and amazing adventures. And through that, we found what we had been looking for. Freedom.

When Robbie Lawson, a rebel child and up-and-coming singer, comes home to Wilmington, North Carolina for his Godfather's funeral; the last thing he expects is to find out that he's not the only one his Godfather "adopted". Tasha Winters is a struggling temp who works three jobs and lives on sarcasm. She's as independent as they come and her charm could knock the socks off of any prat boy. After an accidental meeting with Robbie she immediately decides she should steer clear, but he won't have it. Robbie's been uninspired with his music for months and Tasha's the very thing he needs to get back on track. Things get complicated when their 'Godfather's' lawyer announces he can't find the will, but that there is one, and that he left it all to one of them, being that he didn't have any family to speak of. Robbie decides to hang around and get to know more about Tasha, this girl who he'd never heard of but seemed to know his Godfather so well. Tasha doesn't want anything to do with the money, but doesn't tell Robbie, as she's suspicious of him. Her Godfather never mentioned anything about this boy... This story is about Suspicion, Flirtation, Music, Sarcasm, Wit and Charm; and how all those things could quite possibly lead to something beautiful.

Metanoia (n) the journey of changing one's heart, self, or way of life Lily James is a focused student in her second year at Oxford. She plays field hockey and competes on a rowing team, and on the weekends you'll find her doing homework instead of out with her friends. Always careful, people think that's just the way Lily is and always has been. But there was a time, 4 years ago, when Lily was a wild child desperate and recklessly trying to be free. She got her wish, but what we wish for is not always what's best and Lily's innocence was lost along with her heart. Lily doesn't think about her time four years ago if she can help it, which of course means that there are times she can think of little else. She shuts her eyes, focuses on her school, and pretends she was never sixteen and naïve even if being sixteen and naïve is the only reason she has the luxury to make believe. Lily's world is turned upside down when she takes an unexpected trip to Paris with some friends and meets up with someone from her past. Her nightmares become reality as she works to ignore someone who clearly isn't going to let her. Pretending never hurt anyone. (Except for how it did.)
