Sapphy Mitchell needs a holiday. Ten years of sleeping with the same nightmare has taken its toll on her health, her relationships, and most significantly, her ability to live the life she had been given, twice. With her parents' shared sixtieth birthdays just one month away, Sapphy sees it as the perfect opportunity to put her hard-earned confidence to the test. And so, armed with a suitcase full of self-help guides and enough sedatives to drop an elephant, she manages to get herself on to a flight back home to Australia. Port Douglas, in Far North Queensland, has changed so much since Sapphy was last there a decade ago, that she hardly recognises the tropical idyll where she grew up. What she does recognise though, is the incredibly good-looking, but infuriatingly blunt, owner of the bar at the bottom of her street. She just can't figure out where from. Can a few home truths, a couple of second chances, and one unfathomable coincidence bring together two people who believe they have absolutely nothing in common?

Galina is a ballerina on the run; she has fled her life as the world's most famous prima, with no plan other than to hide on the private Star Island resort. Her entire existence has always been dictated for her, every minute and her every move forced upon her, and on a whim she decides to try something new and daring. She meets the sexy activities director, Ed. The adrenaline junkie is immediately captivated by the delicate Galina, and he's surprised to hear she wants to try every high-octane activity Star Island has to offer. As Ed takes Galina kite surfing and cliff diving, the pair are drawn irresistibly together, but Ed is hiding his own secret past, and Galina's constant terror of being found by her manager, Mama, is holding her back from falling for Ed. Questions swirl like waves for both Ed and Galina. Can a holiday romance become something more? How much of our lives should belong to others? And when it comes to love, where is the fine line between daring and foolish? A sexy tale with heat and heart, this is the follow up book to Falling Star, but can be read as a stand-alone.
