Camila is a mere common squire in Ashford, in the service of a Tyrell man-at-arms, when she meets a beautiful but mysterious woman named Lauren. Lauren claims to be a bastard born in the Reach, who travels with a hedge knight named Ser Michael, going wherever he goes to find work. But what Camila does not know is that Lauren is truly Visenya Targaryen, daughter to Rhaegar Targaryen and rightful heir to the Iron Throne, returned after eighteen years of exile to take her kingdom back, and rain fire and blood down on anyone who would try to stop her.

They chose to be friends but falling in love was out of their control. One never thought twice about the feelings behind her actions. The other knew what she felt but won't admit it. They both somehow thought they could go on like this forever. Of course, the world has a cruel way of teaching lessons. Nobody was made to go on like that forever. Summary: College AU. Once a year the campus gallery has a fundraiser allowing students to place bids for a blind date with an art student based solely on the work they've displayed. Camila spends her last $40 unknowingly bidding on Lauren's artwork, and she's determined to make the night worth every last penny. I originally published this on the 5HFF Tumblr on October 17th, 2015.
