A TMNT Fanfic | Leonardo Hamato is the best friend you never knew you needed, or for that matter, wanted. Unfortunately, a friendship with him and his brothers comes at a cost, as you find yourself becoming entangled in a warring world between ninjas and warriors and something much more sinister than any of you could have anticipated. One thing is for sure, the Foot are after you, but for what reason, you don't know. Amidst the chaos, you draw closer to the four outrageous Tortuga brothers and find yourself rooting for their awkwardly reserved leader's unrequited love interest towards a certain kunoichi. Thinking he's just been reading the situation wrong, you agree to help him navigate the treacherous paths of courtship. However, somewhere along the way, the lines between friendship, family, and something more begin to blur as you find yourself falling for a certain blue-eyed leader. Donnie turned around and started for his lab, putting his hands up in surrender. Raph averted his eyes and went over to the training dummy. It was Mikey who screamed, "Dude, is that a hickey?" Y/N's face reddened, and I turned to her slowly. "You have - I gave you-?" She looked away from me as she moved the collar of her shirt slightly to the side, revealing a pretty sizable bruise on her neck. "There's another one on my shoulder," she whispered. Mikey looked away, horrified. Captain Ryan would definitely not be proud. * * * Welcome to my first book, a Leo X Reader story! Let's put you in the TMNT 2012 universe, where you are staying with your grandparents in their New York City apartment and not much is going on. Well, until there are robots on the roof and you spot something strange, like a team of four ninja turtles fighting back? Enjoy the fluff, excitement, and adventure of being Leo's friend and possibly something more! He's a total sweetheart, so there will be tons of cuteness (and a little PG-13 humor!) Leave me lots of comments! I'd love to read what you guys think! *I don't own TMNT or any of its characters, but they're awesome nonetheless! [Book 3 of the Coldblooded Compassion series] "I'm just your student, after all." She isn't social, nor does she want to be. Instead, she strives to be knowledgeable in every textbook available to her. Her only desire in life is to be just as smart as her mother, to live up to her parents' expectations. The pressure of being just as successful as them is not stressful to her. Quite the contrary, it makes her work harder to achieve her dream. With studies and seriousness, she leaves no room for shenanigans. She has her entire future mapped out to a T. Being reckless is not a part of her plans. He has never been one to treat life seriously. Instead, he struts around with his collection of sports gear and does whatever he feels like. School absences are common with him. Homework is optional in his eyes. All he cares about is living life to the fullest, and high school will not accomplish that for him. With no true plan in sight, he carries on being his usual self: reckless. Meanwhile, there lurks yet another evil plot in the shadows of New York City. Growing desperate with their ambitious ideas, enemies have now resorted to extreme measures. As unstoppable forces, they chase down the most illegal, deadly materials that they can find. This new plan is so dangerous that it might not just achieve revenge, but start a whole new war entirely. Suddenly, the holiday season has taken on a horrifying meaning for Casey Jones. [Book 2 of the Coldblooded Compassion series] "I hate you." After suffering for months inside a place that isn't supposed to exist, she isn't in the best shape. In fact, she's practically beyond repair. Even her best friend can't find the power to heal her. She goes from day to day willing her positivity to return to her. She finally begins to accept her new, tragic reality when an old face pops up. But the newcomer isn't alone. With him comes a set of companions who she automatically finds an interest in- a strong interest. He isn't in the best shape either, but it's not a twist of fate that has made him this way. He's lost many friends that were close to him, but that isn't the reason he behaves this way. Deep down inside his heart is a black field of despair and anger. It bubbles up constantly, sending him into fits of unnecessary rage. This has given him the title of "hothead." But don't tell him, or it might be the last thing you say. To add to the chaos, the Shredder has finally wrapped his fingers around New York City. After the turtles saved New York from the Kraang invasion, Shredder stepped forward and claimed the heroic title. His sly and deceitful personality is perfect to fool ignorant citizens, so he always gets his way. And right now, he wants the turtles' heads. It gets worse. A storm has started to brew in a distant forest, causing living things to melt into mindless monstrosities. The infection taints anyone who comes into contact with the creatures, infecting them with the same disease. Matters get worse as the turtles return home to find that the storm originated from New York City. Everywhere they turn, there are hundreds of innocent people who were taken captive by the mysterious rain. And without a fix, this may be a race to save lives that they can't win. "I hate you, too." "I'll tell you all the stories you want." In New York, the buildings are quiet as the people of Manhattan sleep. By the glow of the moon, the silhouette of a girl stands atop a roof, her arms crossed as she watches the celestial body with wild green eyes. A heavy sigh escapes her mouth, the dull ache of loneliness reminding her that she's alive; she survived another night. Even so, she can't help but wonder what she's missing. Normal doesn't suit Destiny's lifestyle. Through some happening when she was only a baby, she was transformed into a wolf-human hybrid. She did everything for herself, by herself. She escaped her captors, she gave herself a name, she learned to protect herself and survive on the harsh streets, and above all, she never showed her face to any human. She's a mutation living in the shadow of the moonlight, and to her, that's the way it'll always be. She's cursed to be a lone wolf, watching the moon and dreaming of how it could be different. The air was warm, as if she were basking in the sun. Like it was summertime, a season she did not care for. A bright light pours into her eyes and her hand flies up to cover her face. She blinks several times until she regains her bearings, and she lowers her hand. She freezes when she opens her eyes, her vision coming back. She's standing on an emerald, softly trimmed lawn. The blades are glistening with teardrops, still damp from the earlier rainfall. A bittersweet smell wafts through her nostrils, and she turns around. There's a tall, bulky, towering tree a few feet away from her. It's thick trunk is a dark brown, almost like chocolate but there's a rich color of red. It's lush with puffy pink cherry blossoms sprouting from it's thick branches. Soft pink petals rain as the gentle wind rustles the blossoms. There's a winding stone path that makes its way through the trees. She looks up and finds the familiar city outline of the place she used to live in. There's a porch swing, a pale white. There's a young girl sitting there, her dark skin shimmering in the golden rays of the sun, and she has sketchbook in her lap. She's smoothing out the soft edge of the jaw and shading in as she applies value. Her black hair is tied into a ponytail, a strand of hair falling in the middle of her face. A man comes into view and takes a seat beside her. He's smiling at her, asking her what she's drawing. She shrugs and answers nobody, but he counters that it has to be somebody, and she shrugs one shoulder instead. His cocoa brown eyes lights up in pure joy, looking at her as if she were the best thing in the world. Tears spring into her eyes and she swallows the heavy rock lodged in her throat. Someone calls her name and, hesitantly, she turns around. She meets a pair of concerned oceanic eyes and the boy asks her if she's okay. She turns back around, the picturesque view fading away, like dust, and she shrugs. "Yeah," she says, softly.
